Artist Statement:

Light is everything! As a photographer, it is always about the light. It is my inspiration. When I photograph any subject, I am really capturing the the light falling on it. It is the light that gives emotion and feeling to the image. I strive to convey the light’s fleeting magic.

About:

I am a photographic artist living in the midwest.

I received my Bachelors of Arts in Photography and also my Bachelors of Science in Forestry from Southern Illinois University.  I have worked for both the National Park Service and National Forest Service before opening a commercial, advertising,  fine art studio in St Louis in 1992.

My work extends to spectacular  landscapes, architecture, construction and environmental portraits.   I strive to make all my clients images above and beyond their competition. 

My fine art work hangs in many private and public collections throughout the United States.
